Split Session Notes for Concurrent Billing Rules

A number of organizations that work with payors that have concurrent billing rules would like to be able to split a session note so the note reflects the accurate times that are being billed in a scenario where the BT cannot bill when the supervisor is billing during a session, but without having to have separate sessions in Hi Rasmus. This would also require the ability to correctly link the session notes to the corresponding appointments.

One of our funders recently changed their session note requirement that each session note must document a max of 2.5 hours of a session. We typically see kids in school, which encompasses 6-7 hour sessions, resulting in 3-4 notes. We would love to be able to keep the session going and write multiple notes (that show up as separate notes for download) without having to start a new session. We currently run this as multiple sessions.
