In-App Messaging to therapists & parents

Messages between parents, therapists, BCBAs would be huge value-add. So much clinical context happens in conversation: progress updates, suggestions for change, scheduling changes etc.. Capturing that conversational context in the same place treatment is planned/conducted/modified/and reported on would be very helpful. It would also give parents huge incentive to download the app and use it more often.

A potential solution would be the addition of a secure, HIPAA-compliant in-app messaging system within HiRasmus. Key elements that would be helpful include:
• Client-specific message threads between RBTs, BCBAs, and scheduling staff
• Real-time BCBA support requests during sessions
• Messaging accessible within the active session screen
• Encrypted and stored communication for compliance and documentation
• Optional alerts for supervisory support or behavior incidents
• Message templates for quick communication (ex: requesting guidance, reporting behavior events, scheduling updates)6

Yes, some form of in-app client-specific messaging would be super! Also it would be ideal to have a "mark as read" option, so the RBTs can quickly show that they have reviewed updates from the BCBA.

Yes!!! It would be super helpful to use the chat function for the direct support team of each client! something like a “group chat” feature so staff/stakeholders can answer questions about protocol or request help!

I’d love something like this with “chat” threads where every RBT who has access to a client can see recent chats. That way if there is a question about program clarification they could send and all rbts would see the question/answer. Also a place where rbts could collaborate with things like “(item) was super motivating today for group targets!” Or “anyone seen the client engage in property destruction?” And the team could collaborate with the BCBA in the group message

Live Chat Box

It would be nice to have a chat box to be able to live chat with the technician. Sometimes there are topics or strategies I would like to direct the technician to implement without the client hearing.

The ability to securely message staff and caregivers would absolutely be a game changer. Even if it were just an option for premium staff profiles.

Yes, this would be awesome! Voice can be really distracting. For some clients I have to temporarily turn my video off to not derail the session.

Chat option while doing virtual supervision

Sometimes I'll message the RBTs during virtual supervision to avoid talking about behaviors in front of the client. It would be helpful to have a chat/message feature on the video call so RBTs don't have to close out of hirasmus which pauses the video.

This would be so helpful to replace some outside apps as well that are used to message families of updates/pictures/things needed/etc! We would LOVE this!
